The END is just another BEGINNING,儿女离开了母亲去寻找另一个成长的天空。

。。http://asmarakopi.blogspot.com/2009/08/day-filled-with.html
HELLO

HAPPY MID YEAR 2009

D I A L O G U E

Vote Earth for Earth Hour 2009
This year, the world's first global election is taking place, an election between earth and global warming. It's not about what country you are from, but what planet you are from. Your light switch is your vote...
Lights out in KL, Putrajaya and Labuan
By BAVANI M / The STAR
TO support Earth Hour on March 28, the Federal Territories Ministry is urging the residents of Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya and Labuan to switch off their lights for one hour at 8.30pm on that day as a symbolic gesture to cut energy consumption.
Earth Hour is an annual event that World Wide Fund for Nature/World Wildlife Fund (WWF) started in Sydney, Australia, in 2007 to get households and businesses to turn off their lights for an hour to raise awareness on climate change.
Malaysia is joining the bandwagon this year and the FT Ministry is setting an example by ensuring that all buildings under the administration of the Kuala Lumpur City Hall, Putrajaya Corporation, and Labuan Corporation switch off all non-essential lights and office appliances in all its premises for one hour.
This exercise, however, will not involve road and street lights as it involves production and safety concerns.
The ministry hopes that by partaking in this symbolic gesture the world will see Malaysians as citizens who care for the environment and are aware of the climate change and greenhouse gas emissions.
So far, 1,189 cities and towns have pledged their support to Earth Hour 2009 and the aim is to get one billion votes to be presented during the meet in Copenhagen for the United Nations Climate Change conference in December.
On the local front, World Wildlife Foundation Malaysia hopes to get at least five million people to take part in the programme.
